Who we are
This privacy policy is issued by bestonlinecasino.com (“we”, “us” or “our”), the operator of this website and the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
We compare and review online casinos. We do not run gambling services, take deposits or hold player accounts. Everything you do on a casino’s own website is governed by that casino’s privacy policy, not by this one.
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). The personal data we collect
We collect very little personal data, and only in the ways listed here.
When you visit any page
Our web server records technical information about each request in a log file: the IP address of your device, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the page that referred you to us, and the browser and operating system you use. We use this data to deliver the pages you ask for, to keep the website secure and stable, and to investigate abuse or technical faults. We do not use it to identify you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Log files are kept for 30 days and then deleted, unless a specific entry is needed for longer to investigate an attack or a fault, or the law requires us to keep it.
We also use your IP address to work out the approximate country you are visiting from, so that we can show you the regional version of the website and the legal notices that apply there. The country is not stored against you.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form or email us, we process the details you give us: your name, your email address, the subject and text of your message, and the IP address and time of the submission. We use them only to answer you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). We delete enquiries once they are resolved, unless we need to keep them to deal with a complaint or a legal claim.
When you rate a casino or a game
The star ratings on some pages are collected by a plugin (EC Stars Rating) that stores the IP address of the device you vote from, so that the same device cannot vote twice. The contact form is protected by a captcha (Captcha by BestWebSoft) that processes your IP address to block automated submissions. The lawful basis for both is our legitimate interest in keeping ratings honest and the website free of spam (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
What we do not collect
We do not run a newsletter, we do not offer accounts or registration on this website, and we never ask for payment details, dates of birth, postal addresses or phone numbers. We do not use analytics or advertising tracking on this website.

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. We keep cookies to a minimum. The cookies you may receive when using this website are:

Embedded videos
A small number of our pages embed videos hosted on YouTube, a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. When you open one of those pages, your browser connects to Google’s servers, Google receives your IP address and technical information about your browser, and Google may set cookies. If you are signed in to a Google account, Google may link the visit to that account. We embed videos on the basis of our legitimate interest in illustrating our content (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). How Google uses this data is described in Google’s privacy policy. Pages without an embedded video make no connection to Google.
Links to casinos and other websites
This website contains links to online casinos and to other third-party websites. Some of the casino links are affiliate links: when you follow one, the casino can see that you arrived from bestonlinecasino.com, and we may be paid if you go on to open an account. We receive only pseudonymised statistics about sign-ups and activity from casinos, never your name, contact details or account information.
Once you leave this website, the privacy policy of the site you visit applies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for how they handle your data.
Who we share personal data with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We share it only:
- with the service providers who host this website and our email, who act on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes;
- with a buyer or successor if this website or the business that runs it is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data;
- with courts, regulators or law-enforcement bodies where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.
Where your data is held
This website is delivered through Amazon Web Services, including its CloudFront content delivery network, whose servers are located in several countries, including outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, including to Amazon Web Services and to Google in the United States when you open a page with an embedded video, we rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which both companies are certified, or, where that does not apply, on the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office.
How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires: server logs for 30 days, enquiries until they are resolved, and the IP address behind a rating for as long as that rating is counted. We keep data longer only where the law requires it or where it is needed for a complaint or a legal claim.
How we protect personal data
All traffic between your browser and this website is encrypted with TLS, the padlock in your browser. Access to the systems that hold enquiries and logs is limited to the people who need it for their work. No transmission over the internet is entirely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information by email or through the contact form.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (Article 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed (Article 16);
- have your data erased (Article 17);
- restrict how we process it (Article 18);
- receive the data you gave us in a portable format (Article 20);
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Article 21);
- not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you (Article 22). We make no such decisions.
To exercise any of these rights, email dataprotection@bestonlinecasino.com. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we will not charge a fee unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.

Children
This website is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it, and older where the law of your country requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date shown on the page tells you when it was last changed.
